SOLARIS

Solaris is a basket for display, which is operated like a three-dimensional puzzle. These nine rings are rotated on three axis, and form a globe. The rings are made of bent wood, using special technique of “Mage-wappa”, traditional craft of bent wood in Akita. You will create new scenery in your everyday life, by wrapping familiar objects in this basket. We hope that you will enjoy the making process of this globe-shaped art work.
